The 100 Day Project is a free art project that takes place online every spring. The idea is simple: choose a project, do it every day for 100 days, and share your process on Instagram with the hashtag #The100DayProject.
My 2020 project is dedicated to your voice, in place.
Over these 100 days I am lettering phrases, quotes, poems, lyrics, or mantras that express your VOICE as we collectively shelter IN PLACE. I will choose one submission/day to letter and post on Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #100daysofvoicesinplace. It can be something written by you or your favorite author, something said by your kid or your favorite podcaster. It can be something that makes you feel hopeful, grounded, energized, connected. Or it can be an expression of sadness, anger, frustration, or grief. All feelings and emotions are valid - and valued - as we move through this separateness, together. I know that I am currently riding a roller coaster of emotions that shift and change day by day, hour by hour, even sometimes minute by minute - and I know I am not alone.
My hope is that we can find connection with each other through our individual voices.
